General Purpose

This position is responsible for providing safe, effective, and empowering Summer Camps for participants ages 6 - 17. The instructor also provides leadership while educating, monitoring, and encouraging class participants; communicates with supervisory staff regularly.

We are looking for Camp Faculty and Assistants who can teach introductory level of at least 2 of the following disciplines:

• Contemporary Dance
• Creative Movement
• Jazz
• Breakdancing
• Hip-hop
• Aerial Silks
• Trapeze
• Acrobatics
• Juggling

Camp Schedule

9am - 12pm: Dance & Circus Classes

12pm - 1pm: Lunch for those staying for the afternoon session

1pm - 4pm: Arts & Crafts, Story Time (ages 6-8), Open Practice time (ages 9+) and games

Example of Duties

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Teach scheduled camps, beginning and ending on time; provide adequate warm-up, exercises, stretching, and cool down in an organized manner.
• Follow a lesson plan created by the CC&DC Program Director.
