We are looking for Charlotte-Mecklenburg community members interested in forwarding our non-profit mission of producing and promoting dance and circus arts influenced by multi-disciplinary artistic mediums and collaboration.

Our Vision is to create opportunities for people of all ages and backgrounds to see and participate in dance and circus arts.

The Charlotte Cirque & Dance Center is the school of the professional dance and circus arts company, Caroline Calouche & Co.

Who We are Looking For

• People with expertise in the following:
  • Marketing
  • Sales
  • Donor
  • Sponsorships
  • Work for businesses that could be a sponsor.
  • Grant Writing
  • Social media and google ads

Requirements to Serve on Our Board

• Live in Charlotte-Mecklenburg or surrounding area.
• Available to meet in-person every other month for 1.5 - 2 hours and available for for virtual meetings on the months between.
• Ready to utilize your networks to contribute to organization’s success.

Board Member Expectations

• Know the organization’s mission and programs.
• Faithfully read and try understand the organization’s financial statements.
• Serve as active advocates and ambassadors for the organization and fully engage in identifying and securing the financial resources and partnerships necessary for the organization to advance its mission.
• Give a personal financial donation of $250 or more each year.
