We are looking for Charlotte-Mecklenburg community members interested in forwarding our non-profit mission of producing and promoting dance and circus arts influenced by multi-disciplinary artistic mediums and collaboration.
Our Vision is to create opportunities for people of all ages and backgrounds to see and participate in dance and circus arts.
The Charlotte Cirque & Dance Center is the school of the professional dance and circus arts company, Caroline Calouche & Co.
Meet & Greet Opportunities
Requirements to Serve on Our Board
- Live in Charlotte-Mecklenburg or surrounding area.
- Available to meet in-person every other month on Sunday afternoons
- Available to serve on a committee that will meet on the in between months either in-person or virtual.
- Ready to utilize your networks to contribute to fundraising and general programming promotion.
Board Member Expectations
- Know the organization’s mission and programs.
- Faithfully read and try understand the organization’s financial statements.
- Serve as active advocates and ambassadors for the organization and fully engage in identifying and securing the financial resources and partnerships necessary for the organization to advance its mission.
- Give a personal financial donation of $250 or more each year.
